The beach location

Some hotels have a landscaped beach, others a wilder one. Look at recent guest photos.

Adults or families

Some resorts are adults-only, others have kids' clubs. It changes the atmosphere a lot.

Transfers

Ask whether the airport transfer is included and how long the journey takes.

Our advice

A slightly less luxurious resort that's better placed is often worth more than a big name far from the sea.
